Electrical Equipment Cleaning in Mississippi

Switchgear, motors and panels cleaned dry. No water, no media, no dry-out window.

How it works

Clean the gear. Skip the dry-out.

Dust, oil mist, carbon and salt film build up on electrical equipment and hold heat and moisture. Dry ice blasting lifts it off without water, solvents or grit. The pellets turn to gas on impact, so nothing is left in the windings, bus or enclosure, and there is no dry-out time before the equipment goes back in service.

No water · no solvent · no grit left behind · planned around your outage window

Right for

✓Switchgear and bus ducts
✓Motors and generators
✓Control panels and PLC enclosures
✓Transformers and substation equipment
✓MCCs and drives
✓Turbine and compressor housings

Wrong for

✕Heavy corrosionDry ice does not remove pitted rust or bonded coatings.
✕Confined spacesCO₂ pools low. Continuous CO₂ and O₂ monitoring plus exhaust.
✕Skipping lockoutLockout, your site electrical safety program and manufacturer requirements still apply.
✕Cold steelCold-soaked metal can sweat as it warms. Plan dwell time before you re-energize.

Questions we get

Can you clean electrical equipment without water?

Yes. Dry ice is dry and non-conductive and leaves no residue, so there is no dry-out window.

Do you need the equipment de-energized?

Plan on lockout. Your site electrical safety program and the manufacturer’s requirements decide, and we work inside them.

Will dry ice damage insulation or windings?

It is non-abrasive. The method still has to fit the equipment, which is what photos and the manufacturer’s guidance tell us.
